The Wharton Alumni Club - National Capital Region is thrilled to invite Wharton graduates in the region to our Annual Summer Bash, a night of networking, learning, and celebration. Our invited speaker is Wharton alumna Michele Anderson, WG’93, founder of AI powered start up, Thirsty Logic. Thirsty Logic helps hospitality businesses improve customer engagement and revenue performance through expert recommendation technology. Michele is a dynamo - she is an internationally recognized technology and business strategist, former billion-dollar operating executive with Shutterfly, and serves as Non-Executive Director of Baron Philippe de Rothschild S.A. In addition to her MBA from Wharton, Michele holds a Bachelor’s in business and law from UNSW in Australia, and the prestigious Master of Wine, a credential held by only 50 professionals in USA and just over 400 wine professionals globally.
Then, local supporter and Holiday Party event host, Brent Kroll, of Maxwell Park and other ventures will join Michele and lead us through an INTERACTIVE ;-) learning session… Brent is up for the national hospitality industry’s “Oscar”, the James Beard awards, so let’s root him on.
WCNCR Patron (and patron saint) Dr. Michael Useem will do the honors of moderating a leadership discussion on the challenges facing tectonic shifts in a change resistant and often capital/cash strapped industry.
