BOARD APPLICATION (Self-Nomination)
Members of the Wharton Club of the National Capital Region (WCNCR) in good standing may self-nominate for a Board seat, provided the nomination complies with the rules established in the Club’s bylaws regarding re-election term limits.
The Board of the WCNCR is a working board. Volunteer members share various responsibilities, such as:

Proposing and organizing alumni events

Managing membership drives
-
Conducting community outreach
-
Supporting communications and website management
The ideal candidate shares our passion for engaging with and supporting the Wharton community in the greater Washington D.C. area, is collaborative, and is willing to contribute actively. No prior board experience is required.
Note on Officer Positions: Vacancies for Board Officer positions (President, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary) are determined during the first official meeting of the new Board. Successors are chosen from among Board members in accordance with the Club’s bylaws.
