The Wharton Business Development Council is a dynamic network of Wharton alumni in the Washington D.C. area dedicated to fostering meaningful business connections and collaborative growth. Our Council brings together accomplished business owners and operators who are committed to:
- Sharing warm, qualified leads with one another to increase profits
- Expanding their sales and business development networks
- Advising and helping other Wharton alumni grow their businesses
This exclusive, non-competitive group operates within the Wharton Club of the National Capital Region (WNCR), ensuring a trusted environment for open collaboration.
We are currently accepting new WNCR members into the Council.
Meeting Structure: Monthly gatherings with one in-person meeting per quarter and virtual sessions for all others. Regular attendance is required to maintain your exclusive industry position within the group.
Member Expectations: Active participation through consistent referral sharing and engagement with fellow Council members. The Council provides Wharton alumni with an unparalleled opportunity to leverage our shared foundation while accelerating business success together.
Membership is selective and requires pre-approval to maintain the group's non-competitive nature.
