Did you know that 4,452 alumni live in the DMV area?

That's right!  31% are women, 11% are young alumni, and 40% are C-Suite & +V.P.s.

Our highly successful alumni group needs high level events, and it is our club’s utmost priority to offer quality programming for everyone.

If you have any suggestion on the type of events you would like to see more of, we want to know

First year down and growing!

During our first year, we already have 330 members join.  We still have work to do to connect us effectively and expand membership. It also means that all members will be encouraged to renew their membership. Fees will be kept at a low level in order to strengthen and boost a wide membership base. As during the first year, it will come with discounts on events and should more than pay for itself. If you haven't received an email to renew – please do so now before you forget! Become a member here

As we embark into 2020, our club is preparing for the rotation of its board. We have started our first election process. In the spirit of good governance and transparency, charters were drafted to have half of the club leadership rotate every year, so that board members can remain in position for a maximum of 2 years. This will maintain the energy and drive to offer fantastic events for our members, encourage new ideas, while providing some continuity and building up on previous achievements. Click here for details on how to submit a nomination.

Finally, please save the date for our 1 year anniversary celebration with Professor Michael Useem on April 21.

Last year’s club kick off with David Trone was fun, engaging, and informative. This year’s event will keep the good spirit, provide ample food for thought (and belly) and allow us to network and meet each other. More details to come!

Thank you for being part of the Wharton National Capital Region alumni group.

Get Involved

This is YOUR club! Your help makes it better.

Do you have an idea for an event? - A connection to a Wharton professor that you want to share? - An affinity group you’d like to arrange? - A great meeting space you can offer?

We need your help!

YOU are what make our club programming successful, whether it’s your attendance or your ideas and help in coordinating the events. Please check out our Volunteer page to see how you can get involved.

One of our biggest challenges is finding donated meeting spaces where we can have large events. If you have access to a centrally located space that we can use for a nominal fee, please let us know the details! Click here to send us a message.
