Companies and customers sue for false advertising, patent infringement, trademark dilution, and theft of trade secrets. Who adjudicates these disputes? Obvious parties are judges, lawyers, and regulators. But scholars—particularly those serving as expert witnesses—may play a substantial role. In this event, WCNCR Board member, Dr. Vikram Bhargava (WPhD'17), will lead Wharton Marketing scholar Professor David Reibstein and Wharton Ph.D. alumnus Professor Suneal Bedi in a discussion about their experiences and insights as expert witnesses on both sides of a dispute. Reibstein and Bedi will discuss various cases they have worked on and how their research has shaped the resolution of business disputes.
