Join the Wharton Club of the National Captial Region at Pitango in Bethesda to hear from the founder about his entrepreneurial journey, support this local business and sample Pitango’s amazing gelato!  Due to space limitations, we need to limit this to only 25 people so please act quickly if you’re interested.

Noah Dan, who spent his childhood in Trieste, Italy, founded Pitango in 2007 to re-create the pure and wholesome gelato of his youth. Still a family-owned business, Pitango now has six locations in DC, Maryland and Virginia.


WHAT IS GELATO?

Gelato is churned differently than ice cream and contains less air. Despite its lower fat content, gelato boasts a creamy consistency and when done right is thick, dense and elastic. But what truly distinguishes gelato is its taste.
