The Wharton Club of the National Capital Region is pleased to announce the next meeting of our newest affinity group, the A.I. Affinity. This members-only group usually meets on the last Monday of each month at noon, and the format of the interactive discussion varies between hands-on demonstrations, group discussions, and occasional guest speakers. All club members are welcome, but there may be clear expectations for participation for select events.
Building on the themes from our inaugural session, the focus of our June 22 session will be: If You Can Dream It, You Can Build It!
In our last session, we saw two compelling demos of vibe coding using AI-assisted development tools to translate ideas into working prototypes. Now, we would love to see what you can build.
Members are encouraged to form teams of 3 to 4 people, select a use case of their choice, and vibe code their application. The goal is not just to showcase the final product, but also to share the journey, what inspired the idea, how the team approached the build, what worked well, and what lessons were learned along the way.
All participating teams will be featured in the club’s social media channels, including the newsletter, website, and LinkedIn.
Please send your team’s name and team members by June 15.
Attendees will walk away with:
- An understanding of what inspired each team to build its application
- Exposure to working prototypes that may inspire them to build their own
- Practical lessons on the successes, challenges, and pitfalls of vibe coding
We will share contact information about attendees and A.I. Affinity group members so they may connect post event.
