Alright, we are going to go big on this one! This is a TWO-Part session on Optimizing Your LinkedIn Profile: part I on November 10th and part II on November 17th. In between, you'll work on your profile with the tips, tools, and strategies you just learned.

Your Linkedin Profile is the single most important tool in defining your professional brand. You own the narrative on a site that's one of the first to pop up in any search results. Your profile is like having a permanent ad running in the New York Times!

Here's what we'll cover using real-world examples:

1) Overall messaging and correctly identifying the audience you're trying to reach.

2) Crafting the About Me section using a competency and/or a results-based approach.

3) LinkedIn's other areas that help you drive the narrative: the"featured content" section, the professional headline, and long-form articles.

Then comes the fun part! You'll work on your profiles using the tools we discussed. Then we'll meet in a week (part II on November 18th) to review, critique, and finalize... you'll walk away with this one monumental task completed - a strong and relevant-to-the-times profile.
