The same way models are the way to structure numbers, frameworks are the way to structure words. Frameworks help you analyze a situation, organize your thoughts, and communicate in a clear, coherent, and persuasive way.
In this session, you'll learn about:
- Key communication structuring tools and how to use them in writing more effective emails, reports, cover letters, answering interview questions, and delivering a presentation or recommendations to a client.
- The Pyramid Principle or Start with the Answer. Basically, you communicate your main point right away - i.e. you start with the answer - and then go on to further detail, data, examples, and supporting evidence in subsequent layers.
- The Rule of Three: means always stick to THREE whether that is ideas, points, reasons, or factors in support of your main argument. There’s a psychology in play in addition to structural beauty, and three items are the most retainable.
