“How much money would you need in the bank so you would not have to work?” Join club president David Gertler, who was asked that exact question nearly 40 years ago during a job interview, for a lively and interactive discussion exploring the provocative question of “what’s enough?”
We'll dig into financial models, challenge conventional planning approaches, and share diverse perspectives on what financial security actually means. Whether you're mapping your route, recalculating along the way, or wondering if you've already arrived, bring your ideas, models, assumptions and questions as we explore:
- What metrics and milestones actually matter?
- How do our definitions of "enough" shift over time?
- Alternative frameworks for thinking about financial security beyond traditional models
This isn't about perfect answers—it's about honest conversation and fresh perspectives on one of life's most personal questions.
