John Saaty is the CEO of Decision Lens, an Arlington-based software company that focuses on strategy, prioritization, and resource optimization. He co-founded the company with his brother Dan in a Falls Church attic in 2005 and built it into a thriving national enterprise helping organizations from all sectors operate more effectively, serving their stakeholders and customers better. Clients span Fortune 500 companies, Federal and State agencies, and professional sports teams. The software is based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process, a decision theory developed by John and Dan’s father, Dr. Thomas Saaty, a theoretical mathematician who taught at Wharton in the 1970s. Decision Lens was named to Red Herring's top 100 most innovative companies.
