Emerging DEI Landscape

Join us on September 10 for a discussion at Swahili Village The Consulate centered around developments affecting our ever-changing DEI landscape through gender, race and DEI lenses from 2020 to present day.

Come for the insightful discussions, and stay for live music, networking with your fellow DC-area Penn alumni, and the wonderful early supper buffet of east African food.

Our discussions will feature invited panelists Laura Stubbs, Ph.D. (ME79, GME80), Ray Dempsey, Jr. (Northwestern), Melodee Brooks (James Madison University) - and our very own Penn Club of DC At-Large Board Member Patricia E. Davison, Esq., acting as moderator.

Live Music By

The Krewe'tet

The Krewe'tet is an exceptional Modern Jazz ensemble, offering a seamless fusion of Cool Modern Jazz vibes, infectious Latin Jazz rhythms, and the swinging melodies of New Orleans. Their ability to accommodate sophisticated venues indicates that they are well-versed in adapting their performance to different settings, whether it's an upscale event, a cozy jazz club, or any other type of gathering.

Moreover, the promise of providing a professional and dynamic ambiance suggests that they not only focus on delivering excellent musical performances but also understand the importance of creating the right atmosphere to enhance the overall experience for the audience.
