I am a proud graduate of DC public schools who has travelled over 2 million flight miles on United Airlines for Fortune 500 companies and PE funds, including being a CFO of a NASDAQ listed company that delivered more cell phone chipsets as a fabless designer than Apple iPhones. I published several books and am writing another book on “Moral Innovations” that calls for a balance of morality with innovations to sustain human progress.
We must make changes to our society where yesterday, October 8th, 2023, Ron DeSantis signed a law that prohibits Chinese nationals from buying land in Florida. We can not go back to the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882 that lasted three generations. My vision is to make sure Wharton Alumni Community in the Washington DC National Capital region will help reverse the trend where some supreme court justices have no ethics and an egotistical narcissist is trying to be President again.
I transitioned over 10 years ago to the non-profit world of education, beginning as Professor of Finance who taught graduate students, then Lecturer of Entrepreneurship who taught undergraduate students, before getting my k-12 teaching license and school administrator at DC Public Schools, Charter Schools, Montessori, Waldorf, IB, AP and international schools. This is my hope for our children:
