We met Brendan Harris, WEMBA ’18 on May 21 at the WCNCR’s first Fireside Chat*.
Brendan graduated from the College of William and Mary and was drafted by the Chicago Cubs. He also played for several other teams, including the Nationals. After his playing career, Brendan enrolled in Wharton’s Executive MBA program, graduating in 2018. He currently works for the L.A. Angels, doing advanced scouting and player development. He is intimately involved with the integration of data and technology with performance optimization and injury prevention. Brendan also consults for sports tech venture firm SeventySix Capital, focusing on deal sourcing and managing their Athlete Venture Group, which includes Ryan Howard, Demarco Murray, Brian Westbrook, and several others. He also serves as an adviser to several tech startups, including Halo Sports drink, Diamond Kinetics, and Starting Lineup.
