Special Skills, Qualifications & Previous Board Experience
I am a current Board Member of the Wharton Club of the National Capital Region where I serve as Co-Chair of Events and previously served as Chair of Membership. With my background in nonprofit development, I was able to help the Club evaluate its membership model and collaborate with our Advisory Board to bring best practices to membership communications.
Additionally, I provide pro bono consulting services to non-profits through Compass where I have advised on board development and best practices.
Diversity
Before I transitioned into financial services, I spent ten years working for arts nonprofits and government institutions. Bringing this experience to the board is particularly important in the Washington, DC area where government and nonprofits are a large part of our economic and social landscape.
Vision
In a second term, I would like continue to help the Wharton Club of the National Capital Region continue to be a vibrant place to socialize with local alumni and stay connected to the school. This happens through engaged board members who take the lead in planning events! I will continue to organize social activities that bring alumni together, including baseball events, and planning programming that highlights Wharton faculty, alumni, and their collaborations.
