What Challenges Do We Now Face as Companies Prepare to Welcome Employees Back to the Workplace?

Hear what JLL - the second-largest commercial real estate services company worldwide - is doing to lead the charge.

For a brief moment, the world hit pause. We collectively assessed the true impact of a global pandemic, all while adjusting to a new way of life. Businesses will not go back to the way we knew before the pandemic. They will use this crisis to reinvent themselves to be more resilient, adapting their operational models to the 'next normal.' Operational resilience in the face of a pandemic must go beyond just reopening work spaces and the journey will be complex and multi-phased. While most of us in the United States are currently living in the response phase, other geographies and most companies are focused on how to re-enter the workplace while looking ahead. There will be an endless list of questions to answer and those organizations that develop a thorough plan focused on the health and well-being of their employees and visitors, the safety and resiliency of their buildings and proper adjustments to their space usage will be best positioned to navigate successfully.
